ST & T Wave abnormality EKG?
Please help! I had an EKG, Normal sinus rythm, ST&T wave abnormality, consider anterior ischemia, prolonged QT (on the first one, I got 2)
I had heart surgery 33 years ago as a child to close a hole in my heart and fix a septal defect. I'm SO SCARED right now. Everything I look up is really bad.?The?Nurse?called but left a message to call back Monday. WHY do they do this??? I have to freak out for 2 days??
I've had echo's, holters, ultrasounds and dopplars (sp?) in the past and all hve been negative for disease. I am a 36 year old female. Please help! What can this mean?
ST-T changes on an ECG are extremely common and often don't mean anything in particular, so the fact that these were seen does not necessarily mean there is a problem. You will need to talk to your doctor about the meaning (or non-meaning) of these findings in your particular case.
I don't know why doctors offices are organized so often as to maximize unnecessary stress on their patients. I've never been able to figure this out.
Thank you SO MUCH Dr R!!!! I'm waiting for my call back today.
